Jael Jay: How much money would I need for beach week in Miami?
I’m planning on going to Miami for beach week with 5 of my friends. One of them already has a house there so we don’t have to worry about money and I know plane tickets will be about $ 200 each. But how much spending money will we each need? Mostly just for clubs, food, and maybe a few other things. Thanks!

I’m not sure when beach week is, however estimating on the high side, I’d say about $ 200/day. Miami Beach is pricey; food, shopping, everything. I grew up in Miami and go every year to visit my Mom for Christmas. I stay with my Mom, but eat out mostly and mostly in the Miami area. I have never spent less that $ 75 a day on food for one child and two adults.
