DanielleL: How much money would I make coming out of navy bootcamp being married?
I plan on marrying my girlfriend before leaving to bootcamp. Not as a result to make more money, but just out of curiosity, how much more money will I receive coming out of bootcamp opposed to active duty without marriage. I am already aware of the insurance and sepraration benefits, I am just looking for an estimate on my income.

Have you spoken to the Recruiter about just getting married?? Because that can cause issues as you have Enlisted as a Single person with no dependents and are now Married with at least 1 dependent. This can hold you up at in processing.
If it goes through you would get BAH w/dependents based on the zip code you resided at when you enlisted. It can range from $ 600 to $ 1500 a month. Family Separation is $ 250 per month when gone longer than 30 days, prorated for partial months.
So it can be just a few hundred dollars a month more but then you will also have more bills to pay so it doesn’t always work out.

You do not get paid any extra for being married.
