: How much money should i bring to the casino?
So my friends and i were talking about taking a day trip up from Austin to the Winstar World Casino in Oklahoma by bus, were not looking to win anything, we just want to experience what its like to gamble in a casino. I am only 19 and have hefty college bills to pay so i do not have a lot of money to play with. We would be there for a total of about 8 hours. Could i get away with $ 100 or less playing cheap slots?

Take the max amount that you would consider using, to keep yourself from spending too much.
$ 100 sounds alright but you don’t want to bring to much so you don’t have a lot to loose, then i suggest betting with the money that you won and not any of your own.Answer by SASSIE
Take what u can afford to lose and make it workAnswer by imissyou
Bring enough to have some fun but not so much that if you lose it( and you probbably will) it wont put you in the poorhouse. If your doing a sPecial trip to say vegas about a hundred bucks. Day should be your spendig limitAnswer by mr.longshot

Only take what you’re willing to spend and not a penny more. I would also advise leaving your bank/credit cards at home just in case you get tempted.Answer by Michael Anderson
200 or 500Answer by Ranger4402
This is easy. You are in college. Spend your money on college expenses. Why? If you really want to have a casino experience then go to Las Vegas. Nothing tops that. I can’t describe why it is better. It just is. Reno is far better than any Indian casino too.Answer by Colin G
First I’m going to suggest you go to New Orleans instead of Oklahoma. Next, take whatever you are comfortable with losing.Answer by K2010
make sure you are allowed to gamble
only few casinos in Oklahoma allows people of your age to play
all other ones have gambling age set at 21 years old
as per money, take as much as you can afford to loose
and make sure to leave your ATM/Credit card home-just in caseAnswer by Mark
That largely depends on your luck. I have gone to the casino and made $ 20 last hours. I have also gone to the same casino and blew through $ 300 in less then an hour. The games you play does make a difference, but so does your luck, as well as what else your doing. Will your main focus be gambling? Or will you be gambling, drinking, socializing, etc. ? As someone else says don’t short change your self, but also dont bring any money you need for bills. 8 hours is an extreamly long time to spend in a casino, $ 100 may last you a few hours if your playing cheap slots… But no one plays slots for 8 hours.Answer by J-Dawn
Just depends on how much you want to lose. Honestly, if you have hefty bills, it might be good to take even less than that. I had a friend who went into a casino, put a dollar in a penny slot machine, played on it all night, and walked away with $ 600.Answer by Oren Ganon
Yes $ 100 is fine but just promise yourself the if you win and made $ 100 you will stop playing
