Its usually just old people. Nothing bad has ever happened while I have been at a casino.
Rich older people who have nothing better to doAnswer by RDG78
Where I work, it’s mostly senior citizens playing the slot machines. At least 3% of them will have air tanks with them, and an approximately equal number will have wheelchairs or walkers. I haven’t personally seen any unfortunate incidents, although about a week ago there was a report of an older lady taking a sponge bath in one of our restrooms. Alcohol may have been a factor.Answer by Vegas Matt
Most of the people are just “normal” people. The average tourist on the Las Vegas Strip only spends an average of $ 200 a day, and people who do that do not fall into any of the decidedly negative characterizations you seem to want to make. Homeless and ill people would only last about two seconds in a casino.
The only exception would be during the day on weekdays at locals casinos, when you see mostly senior citizens. This is not a negative thing though, it’s just because they are retired and most people have jobs during the day. In the evening and on weekends, the “normal” people return.
I don’t know what you’re trying to prove here, but “usually” nothing bad happens at casinos. I’ve lived in Las Vegas for 5 years and have only seen one person get kicked out of a casino ever, and have never seen anyone get in trouble for attempting to cheat or picking a “physical” fight or anything of the sort. The only thing “bad” you’ll see on a regular basis is people losing and getting upset, but that’s a normal reaction.

WMS gaming is trying to coach some younger people into playing slot machines with more innovative machines that appeal to “video game” players. They were formerly a video game company, but now they make exclusively slot machines.

Gaming is very attractive to compulsive behavior. That’s why smoking and drinking are encouraged.Answer by Hattie
All sorts! Most often I see tourists or natives from the rez because the casino I go to is kind of far from the little towns nearest by. But of those people they range from poor to rich, ill to healthy, etc.
There’s not much that happens at the casino that I consider “not good”. I suppose some people consider gambling or drinking bad, but it’s not like people get in fights or bring guns and try and rob the place or anything. I think it’s a fun place to have a great time, with all sorts of people and tons of fun entertainment! ($ _$ )

I go to Las Vegas on a regular basis and you see mostly normal people. But i noticed if you really look at the people gambling that it’s a bored, frustrated, tired stare that they have on their faces(me included). So i think most people are not having the time of their lives while in casinos.I gamble real late at night(11pm to about 6am). There’s hardly anyone around, but watch out for people bumming money and cigs at those hours. Also you will see some very drunk people at times in casinos.
