I recently got a picture of a big-time celebrity. I was wondering how much magazines pay for these photos. Includes a possible baby bump from someone who has not announced it yet.
As for how big the celebrity is, I’m saying celebrities like Tom Cruise or Katie Holmes.

I suppose that this really depends on who it is. If it’s someone who is really ‘big’ these days then it can go for A LOT to something like People Magazine or US. You need to consult with a few Magazine editors. If you have something good, they should be interested. When you are giving the editors a preview of the picture, make SURE that you put you name across it so that they can’t take it. Once they give you the money, you can give them the version without your name (make sure you keep the unedited version). Hope this helps.
Who knows. Depends on how big the celeb is. Which rag mag you offer it too.
Before you offer it, I would make a digital copy of it, and paster a copyright diagonally over it so you don’t get yanked on them using it without buying it from you.
But just to let you know, with so may cell phone cameras, celeb photos prices have considerably gone down in the last years. They are more likely buy from the paperazzi.
