How many teenagers are expected to be diagnosed with depression this year?

Never*grow*up: How many teenagers are expected to be diagnosed with depression this year?
I’m doing research for my school project and I wanted to know about how many teenagers are going to be diagnosed with depression this year, and also, how many are expected to commit suicide? Repeat these questions for past years 1990, 2004, and 2010.

Too many…

I personally think it’s mis-diagnosed a LOT. But that’s not to say there is so much more bullying and stuff going on right now… I don’t know the exact amounts, google can help probably. But I don’t really feel like doing anyone elses homework, I didn’t have any myself this weekend… 😛

I don’t know, but I can tell you that 5% of teens have some type of mental illness (not just depression).
