How many people can live in one room of a house share style accommodation?

AJB: How many people can live in one room of a house share style accommodation?
I am currently living in halls of residence, but next year will need to have private accommodation. So I’m hoping to move in with my boyfriend, and I don’t know how legal it is to have two people in one room, or can you ensure the second person is on the license? Help, ex or current students doing this currently would be most appreciated!

u can have 2 people in 1 room.

BUT i would check about the rules of your city.

FOR INSTANCE – where i live…

there is no room restrictions, but you cant have more than 10 people in a house.

Depends on the local laws. In most places, it’s two people per bedroom in a house.
