How many hours did you study for anatomy?

Edward R: How many hours did you study for anatomy?
I might take Anatomy at my community college in the fall and I am in high school. I am going to take it on Saturdays. I was wondering if I should take or not. I think I can study about 4 hours. I am already studying it a little bit.

It heavily depends on the type and difficulty of the course, as well as how quickly and how well you can retain straight memorization.

I know it is an old saying, but the key is study smarter NOT harder

I would suggest you use the style of learning you are “wired” for, e.g., are you more visual than auditory, are you more tactile, and so on

I took it online and the course was worth 3 credit hours. It’s similar to the amount of work it takes to get through Biology or Chemistry if you’ve ever taken one of those. I probably studied 4-6 hours a week for 10-12 weeks. I hope this helps. Good luck with the course. I really enjoyed A&P.
