I am taking anatomy in a university. How many people are typically in a group? And what do we dissect?

It varies from class to class and school to school. Very few things like this are universal.
Why not ask your professor or look at an old syllabus for the course?
Answer by TRThat will depend 100% on the lab instructor and the policies of the individual college. Some colleges do all computer-graphic dissections now; others fall back on Huxley’s “The Salamander” and use only one dissection (and it doesn’t matter which one) to show all principles of anatomy.
And how many in a group? Again depends on the instructor and class size and lab set-up.
You ought to feel free to phone the department or the instructor (if one has been assigned) to ask these questions from someone who might know.
Answer by HeatherI am in an anatomy lab this quarter, and we have either 2 or 3 people in a group. we are dissecting sheep brain next week. but it all just depends on the university and lab instructorAnswer by Caitlin B
When i was in anatomy we used a cat, then we did a pig, cow brain, sheep eye..but mainly it was a cat, and then for the human section we had models.
