Chris in the Sand: How long does it take for a credit report to stop saying “Short credit history”?
I am nearly 21 years old and have 3 years of never missing a payment on my credit card or car loan. How many years does “short credit history” last?

“Short credit history” could also be attributed to your youth. You are only 20. Be patient.
Short history can also mean you don’t have enough accounts, One car loan and one credit card that probably doesn’t have a very high limit is also considered a ‘thin credit file’,
Even though you should only apply for credit when you need it, you may want to get another credit card with higher limits, And just because you have it, that does not mean you have to use it,
Good luck,
