nothin: How long does it take for a clitoral peircing to heal?
I was thinking about getting peirced down below but I am scared that it will hurt and take along time to heal.
the peircing would be not the actual clitoros just the skin beside it.

Why? Why would you even want to do that?
You know, in other countries they actually REMOVE the clitoris from girls?
That’s a horrible thing to do to the MOST sensitive part of your body.
You know it has 8,000 nerve endings down there? That’s TWICE as many as men have in their ENTIRE penis!!!
HOLYCRAP….don’t pierce your clitoris!
Answer by Raynebow_DivaWondering the same thing cuz im thinking of “surprising” my girlfriend with getting mine done. I’ve heard it takes approximately 2-3 weeks as long as you keep the area clean and NO sex until its healed.
It’s not the entire clitoris being pierced. It’s only the hood, which is a thin layer of skin covering that little ball underneath (sorry if im being too graphic, lol) Therefore, its not much skin and I’ve been told doesnt hurt as much as it sounds.

Why in God’s name would you want to do that? Worse than the excruciating pain, consider the consequences of infection. Better to have a simple gold wire loop threaded through your labia minora. Please reconsider.Answer by Cat ‘n Boots
Don’t mean to be a “drag” but…. getting pierced there is a really dangerous plan. A lot of girls are having to remove the piercing and take antibiotics to cure infections that are being caused by having a “live” piercing in such a moist and bacterial environment.
There have been a few cases where a young woman has had to have her clitoris removed as a result of gangrene.
Some girls have simply “lost feeling” there (see link below) as a result of it. That particular “thing” is a bundle of nerves so piercing it does in fact kill some of the nerves. Your feeling will not increase, but can only DEcrease as a result of piercing that nerve bundle.
As a result of the problems resulting from clitoral piercing, many girls try “hood piercing” (the skin just above) the problem there being the bacteria and moisture causing infections etc.
I strongly recommend against it. ….If decor is something ya just gotta have, I recommend a sexy tattoo “nearby!”
Answer by u_fas_n8meMine healed very fast. Since it is moist down there the healing process is sped up a bit since you don’t have to deal with the dry crusties you get on a normal piercing. As far as ‘unexpected orgasms’… no. I mean you could position youreself funny… but you have to do some pretty silly moves to get off in publc without touching it. But it does introduce a bunch of new sensations down there…
The piercing pain was pretty minimal… just a quick prick and it over… it was mostly uncomfortable having someone I didn’t know down there… but she was very professional. The experiance wasn’t bad at all. She made it quite humurous actually.
I have mine done and at first it was mildly uncomfortable but it’s all good in the hood now! *sorry* hahaha.
Answer by Donegal RoseI would never do that myself and I would never advise any person to do it. Painful, too much danger of serious infection, men don’t like it, considered really freaky. Very seriously, don’t do it. The pain and risk of infection are not worth what could only be a passing fad.Answer by carora13
I’m assuming you’re talking about the hood piercing and not the much more rare actual clit piercing. If so, just keep the area as clean as possible and give it a couple weeks. Just make sure you go to a good pro that isn’t going to accidentally pierce a nerve and that can recommend some good ways to keep clean. There’s enough risk of infection as is without poking extra holes down there.
