I find it insulting that only rich people’s pets are being taken care of properly when they get sick. Health insurance should be a basic right of all pets.

I find it insulting that you can’t ask a more intelligent question. Do not get a pet if you cannot afford adequate health care. The world does not owe you; you owe the world.

Pets will never get free health care. Grow up & get an education.

Pet health insurance only costs like $ 29 a month for rich and poor people and when you think about all the costs you incur without it, that seems pretty cheap to me.

First all people in the USA would have to get “FREE” health insurance(quotes because someone always has to pay for the services). Then the majority of people would have to own pets and want to push for free pet insurance. In short probaly never. Cheaper pet insurance will probably come when more people actually get the insurance thats out there now.

If you can’t pay for a pet’s needs you shouldn’t have one. If they ever do get free health insurance I think it would be very bad. It will cause more ignorant stupid people to get pets when they don’t know how to take care of them. How is that insulting? I really think you are pretty far off here.

pets are a luxury.. rich people’s pets get taken care of because they can afford the luxury to care for their pets properly. They dont get free health care for their pets.. they have to pay for it too.

Yes pets have a right to proper care.. its YOUR job to manage your finances so you can provide that care.
