Er…uh… I really can’t think of anything that stands out.
Water chemistry is very much related to the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act, but not really the Endangered Species Act.
Maybe you can consider some of the methods used to determine quality habitat and identify critical habitat to be this “chemistry”? Water quality requirements (fish can live within a certain range of dissolved oxygen, conductivity, and turbidity), soil nutrient analysis, that kind of thing? It’s really more related to the fields of ecology of wildlife biology than the Endangered Species Act though. A technique used to collect dietary and geographic data from migratory songbirds is stable isotope analysis. That may qualify in a roundabout way.
