How important are politics in other countries?

SlasherX: How important are politics in other countries?
I mean it something people talk about with all their friends. Millions of dollars are spent on advertisements. And we have (atleast) five stations that I can think off hand that are dedicated to it. So how many counties outside of the U.S. really have politics play such an important role in their culture.

Politics are equally important in every country. Politics is the art and science of human power relationships. Most countries don’t have the highly advanced political machines that we have here in the U.S., but then again in many countries politics decides whether you or your family get to live or not. So yeah, it’s real important no matter where you go.

Very the usa is not the only country in the world and certainly not the only democracy in the world although you would think they think this is true.

They say that politics is just an other form of war. If so it should be very important to most nations.
Each country has different forms of government. However they still have politics. Be it Democracy, Totalitarianism or Dictatorship.
Some have men (Patriarch) in charge some have women (Matriarch) in charge .It is very or slightly different in each country but it is a very important role in each.
Did you know that we spend more money in the USA on advertising dog and cat food then on all politics together.
In Iraq they were under a dictatorship for so long that when given Freedom to rule them selves it took a while to get it going but they did. Then when they saw they did have freedom of choice in the action of voting for there leaders. They caught the fire in there heart as all free people do.Showing it by voting under fire and then proudly showing there indelible died fingers. This made our country men and women’s ultimate sacrifice in Iraq worth while.
