mookie: How good is cooking oil good for?
While cleaning out the cupboard, I found an old bottle of cooking oil. Does cooking oil spoil? How long can it sit for?

Yes it will spoil. The chemical process of breaking down is called rancidity. If it’s over 6 mos old, pitch it. It’s likely rancid.Answer by Orlando57
