I’m five months and all of my regular clothes fit so tight. Should I start wearing maternity clothes or is it too early?

as soon as your normal clothes are uncomfortable.
If you feel like your clothes are too tight then I would buy maternity clothes, i was about 4 and a half months when I did, my clothes fit but i feel like i was suffocatingAnswer by Katie
As soon as clothes start to feel tight on you than its an idea you should start wearing maternity clothes. Many women are so different that it all depends on there body types.Answer by *steph*
Never!! Personally I think that all maternity clothes are ugly, they were not my style at all. I don’t see the point in buying maternity clothes, just buy a bigger size shirt than you normally wear, why does it have to be maternity? As for maternity pants, wow, not my style at all, I just wore my regular jeans and when I couldnt button them anymore I just wore the belly band. It is an elastic band that goes around the stomach and it hides the zipper and button on your pants so you can wear all your regular jeans through your whole pregnancy and just put the band over the top. Look it up online. Belly Band.Answer by ****
no whenever your uncomfortable and when ur regular clothes are tight you can start wearing them. you dont want to wear tight clothes especially jeans cuz it could hurt the baby…i started about 6months its different for everyoneAnswer by Ren
Maybe get a few things in bigger sizes and a few maternity things. Dont spend too much money, you only wear them for a few months!! Its handy to have a few things in a bigger size so you have something to wear when you take the baby home!! GoodluckAnswer by RebeccaP
You can either start wearing maternity clothes, or you can get some loose-fitting shirts for more room in the belly and jogging/running pants for the elasticity in the waist. If you are at the stage it sounds like, Maternity clothes would still seem too big on you, and your regular clothes are too small, so it may be best to try to make the transition by buying pants and shirts with a more giving waist.Answer by Rachel D
Well to actually answer your question (lol seems like most people aren’t), I started wearing some maternity stuff at about 4 months. I bought a couple pairs of jeans. One from motherhood maternity but they are still soo loose on me. They look fine and all, but i find myself pulling them up often so it’s frustrating and my other pair was from old navy maternity and I love them!! I’m now 19 weeks and I think I’m going to go ahead and buy one of those belly band things that allow you to wear your pre-preggers jeans, but i still wanted to have at least a couple pairs of maternity ones incase. I don’t really NEED maternity shirts and most of the styles are ugly to me, so I just look in my regular stores for looser fitting or empire waist things that are actually something I could wear when I’m not pregnant too. It’s frustrating though with a lot of my shirts still fitting me but looking different on me to where I feel I look awful and it gets my self esteem down 🙁 So I try to buy something nice here and there to cheer myself up. You can start wearing maternity clothes whenever you wish, up to you hun 🙂
