the question is against the stereotype of violent teens and also a call to teens to not use violence
they don’t leave teens alone, they stereotype all teens to be violent and troublemakers, they only show the bad stuff from teens, like fights and school shootings and drugs, when this could happen in any age group. If an adult takes drugs vs teen takes drugs who has the worst portrayal? the teen. just cuz their a teen. for examples use song quotes
“their gonna rip up your heads, you aspiration to shreds”
“maybe theyll leave you alone but not me”
and the songs list things that teens are blamed for:
“but if youre troubled and hurt what you got under your shirt will make them pay for the things that they did”
“the drugs never work. they gonna give you a smirk cuz they got methods of keepin you clean”
“they could care less as long as someone will bleed”
‘darken your clothes, I’ll strike a violent pose”
