Danielle W: How does the British education system work?
I’m American and I’m thinking of applying to a British college. But I have no clue how the education system works, like how do you go ‘through the ranks’. Like what are A levels? AS levels? If anyone could give me tips on how I should proceed to apply to a college for Musical Education I’d be extremely happy 😀

they wake up go to school and come back
I am originally from the Caribbean so we have the same system as the British along with other Commonwealth nations. A Levels is considered as Advanced Levels. Consider A Levels as a more rigorous form of AP subjects in the American system; the only differences is that american high school students don’t have to take AP but to enter an English University, A Levels is a must. I would say, go to the international applicants link and follow those instructions. Don’t worry about all the inner workings of the system, because they will evaluate your transcript in their own way.Answer by Rufaro B
