They have certainly been subjected to changes in translationAnswer by Iranian
Because the Quran says so and there are many signs in the Quran that prove it is not man-made. Only recent computer analysis has revealed some of the amazing accuracy in the Quran.Answer by Acid Zebra
As “Iranian” has just demonstrated “because it says so” plus some vague waffle about scientific blah blah blah.Answer by Roger2008
There are many versions of the Bible (old and new testaments) written by different people over a long period of time, while historically there is only one version of the Muslim holy book.Answer by Mark T
Islam was created by a distorted, wealthy and ignorant man named Mohamed, he was a pedophile and a murdurer. His God, Allah was part of dream. The quran if you download it and read it, is quite distorted, its full of hate and misguidance. The Mohamed came to life 600 years after Christ. And the Quran puts him as a prophet at the same time of Christ. Very distorted indeed. The content has put nations back for centuries and will do it with America if we let it happen.Answer by Daniel Tremblay

Answer by Change the world …Christians and Muslims agree that The Old Testament and Quran as well as Torah have much in common. Alah is YHWH is God is Jehovah is Adonai is Elohim. The Great I AM. The God who created the universe – all that we know of and can see and much more.
Hence, Christians, Jews and Muslims serve THE SAME GOD. Just different names.
Stop the madness and come to understanding. Go onto Wikipedia and search for the TRUTH.
I am Christian, but follow Muslim Law also. I am also Jewish and follow Jewish law. Most important, I love fellow mankind as God loves me and forgave me my sins.
Blessings,
Jacques.

Hello
the prove when you open any copy of the holy quran you will find it will start with the same word and ended with the same word and also the holy Quran is only one version from 1432 years until now while you find many different version of the Bible even from the king james version in different years there were many different version of the same Bible were some sentence was deleted and after some years it was wrote again in the new copies while every one know that the Bible was older than the holy Quran and i think Pony you are looking for the truth and i hope you write thes sentence in the youtube.com (Is the Bible God’s Word ? Ahmed Deedat VS Jimmy Swaggart) and you will exactly know what i mean when i said that there was many different version of the Bible.Answer by Annsan_In_Him
Surah 5:46-47 in the Qur’an invites the ‘people of the book’ (Jews and Christians) to judge Mohammed’s message by what Allah has already revealed to them in their own scriptures. Mohammed did not have access to the New Testament scriptures in the 600s and he believed there was perfect consistency between his teaching and the New Testament:
“We sent Jesus the son of Mary, confirming the Law that had come before him [the Old Testament]. We sent him the Gospel; therein was guidance and light, and confirmation of the Law that had come before him… Let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. …To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety; so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed…”
Also in Surah 3:84, Muslims are to say [agree] that “We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Prophets, from their Lord; we make no distinction between one and another among them and to Allah do we bow our will [in Islam].”
However, Surah 61:6 claims that although Jesus foretold the coming of Muhammed whose name, Ahmed, was recorded in both the Jewish and Christians scriptures, later generations wilfully perverted those passages (Surah 7:157). It is certainly true that no OT or NT scriptures mention anyone called ‘Ahmed’! But Jewish and Christian people could give manuscript pedigrees going so far back as to prove that such a name was never there in the first place.
The above proves that this matter has nothing to do with various translations of the scriptures. That argument could only have come much later, once the number of translations began to increase (from the 1500s with the Bible). The Qur’an itself implies that both the Jewish and Christian scriptures would confirm the Qur’an (apart from that one word ‘Ahmed’.) If they had been corrupted at the time of Muhammed’s confident invitation, he could not have said that. Yet no Muslim will say exactly how and when any corruption supposedly crept in, only that the original, authentic copies are in heaven. Very convenient.
I wonder if any Muslims could enlighten us as to when, exactly, the claim was made that the scriptures of the Jews and the Christians were at odds with the message of Muhammed? I am not well enough conversant with the Qur’an to say that is actually the case. There might be verses elsewhere that say the OT and the NT became corrupted. Yet given the confidence with which Muhammed invited Jews and Christians to compare his message with the OT and the NT, there seems to be a problem here.
