Rainbow Bunny: How does football play different in England compared to other countries like Spain, Italy, Germany, or Turkey?
Whenever there is an English game between like Manchester United and Liverpool for example I always here people say, “Ughh… Not really a fan of English football.”
What about exactly is more boring than leagues from other countries? Is it because it isn’t risky enough or something?

Well honestly I’m surprised because the Premier Leauge is the most watched Leauge on earth and is generally regarded as the highest quality League for football as unlike Spain where there are only 2 great teams (both so obvious I don’t need to mention) in England they’re about 6 top clubs and the overall standard throughout the teams in the Leauge is probably incomparable in Europe.
Generally though it is Italian football that is considered quite boring due to their footballing philosophy of keeping a clean sheet first, scoring goals second.
The premier Leauge also has no one style of football with teams like Arsenal playing a very different style of football the Chelsea or Manchester United.
Old fashioned English football maybe did seem quite boring to those not from England because it was a much more physical and direct game but more recently it has been combined with speed and flair due largely to an influx of foreign players, coaches and managers to create a truly unique Leauge.
So I’m very perplexed at English football been viewed as boring and can’t explain it either because as I see it; its quite the opposite.
