How do you sync your yahoo email contacts with your yahoo messenger contacts?

Patrick: How do you sync your yahoo email contacts with your yahoo messenger contacts?
I just used the facebook synce feature to sync my friends yahoo accounts to yahoo, but this only applied for email. It however did not update my yahoo im contacts. How do i get the contacts moved over to yahoo messenger?

IMPORT CONTACTS TO YAHOO MESSENGER:
You will need to have the contacts in your Yahoo Mail Address Book.

1. With Messenger open, click on “Contacts.”
2. From the drop down menu, click on “Import Contacts.”
3. When the “Import Contacts window opens, click “Next.”
4. When the next window opens, check the names you want to import.
5. Click “Next” and follow the prompts.
NOTE: The selected contacts will receive an email from Yahoo inviting them to join you on Messenger. You will be added to each others Messenger’s lists when they accept the invitation.
