Dot3: How do you start a professional soccer career in the United States at an early age?
Europe has Soccer (Football) academies where you start out with the youth program, but since i moved to the U.S. from Europe, i don’t know where to start, there’s so many pointless leagues that lead nowhere, i’ve asked so many people about it and the best answer i got was to wait till college soccer, i just want to make sure that i’m not waisting my time, so please, be as specific as possible.

Ok. well first off you will need to join a club soccer team just to play.
and the best thing that you can do is try out for your states olympic development program team (ODP) of your age group. You just need to google your state plus odp and it’ll tell you when tryouts are and stuff.
once you make your state team, you can try out for regional teams and even national teams at your age group. this is the best way to get exposure for better club teams and to improve as well. this will help you play college soccer and even pro soccer

My friend do what guiseppe rossi did go back to europe and join an academy, Do not F’ up your game with ncaa non sense it is ayso for teens and young adults. You want to develop under a proven system and football here unfortunately has not developed anything good apart from donovan. I would suggest you go to south america too for a youth team which is far superior style of play to ncaa, But there would be language and culture shock involved. So whatever you decide just think of what is best in football development for your game.
