just me: How do you set autocorrect to capitalize “I”?
I have microsoft office 2007, and I tried messing with the autocorrect settings to automatically capitalize the word “I” but nothing worked. How do you fix this?

It’s called a shift key…
spell something wrong, right click on it, choose autocorrect, put i in for word to replace and I for its replacement.
BAM!
Answer by Randy WWhen you add the setting add it like this:
[space] (click spacebar, don’t write it out)i[space]
Change to [space]I[space] That way it will only correct the “i” if it has a space before and after it — not every letter “i” in the document.Answer by The Phlebob
That’s in the Replace Text as you type list. Do this:
1. Click the round Office button in the upper-left corner of the window.
2. Click the Word Options button.
3. Click Proofing.
4. Click the AutoCorrect Options button.
5. Click the AutoCorrect tab.
6. Check the Replace text as you type checkbox.
7. Click OK.
Hope that helps.
