jennylynn1720: How do you scan an image into Microsoft word and then be able to type on the scanned image?
I am needing to scan a document on my scanner and then need to fill in the questions in Microsoft Word. I am unsure on how to do this. Can anyone please help me? I tried to research it through the Microsoft website, but it got too confusing. Please someone help me.

When you scan a document, it becomes an image file. Unless you have word recognition software, you cant.
The scanned image is most likely to be a TIFF file or JPG, you can save that image and just use Microsoft Paint to edit the image and add your annotations, save it and then import to word.

I do it all the time.
Once the picture is on the Word Document, Simply-
-click on the picture
-the picture tool bar should come up
-click the icon with the little dog and lines
-Choose setting (Behind Text)
you should type whatever you want on top of your picture.
