Your translations are literal, but make no sense in Italian…
There’s no such expression in my language, whereas in French, for example, it’s the same thing as English (‘tomber amoureuse’).
I fall in love = mi innamoro
to fall in love = innamorarsi
I’m in love with you= sono innamorata di te
