Your translations are literal, but make no sense in Italian…
There’s no such expression in my language, whereas in French, for example, it’s the same thing as English (‘tomber amoureuse’).

I fall in love = mi innamoro
to fall in love = innamorarsi
I’m in love with you= sono innamorata di te

Anche se non esiste una traduzione alla lettera vuol dire + o –
mi stò innamorando . C’è una bella canzone in inglese che s’intitola così e la cantava Ella Fitzgerald.
