spur_2006: How do you become a sports agent in baseball?
I plan on going to law school, but are sports agents lawyers? does anyone know what type of degree you need to be a sports agent, especially for the MLB?

I know a lot of Sports Agents are lawyers and its understandable why.
Look into Scott Boras, he is one of the best agents out there and he attended law school. Although I’m not sure why (considering it doesn’t really pertain to sports) Boras specializes in medical litigation.

almost all the agents are lawyers, some majored in economics others in business
you fill out a lengthy application and then you’re in. Their is more agents than players in the majors, so just cause your in doesn’t mean your in. Good luck, that would be a great job.
