Mvs1231: How do I transfer to another college for sophomore year?
This might sound strange but I am looking to transfer to a college close to home for next year. Dorm life is not for me and the houses near my school are really nasty. My question for you guys is if you went through this experience, any tips. Is it normal for someone wanting to go to a local college from dorm life? Is it harder to get into college sophomore year as a transfer student? Also, what do colleges look at for a transfer student SAT, ACT or just college grades. Any tips on how to make this process easier and to get into a local school faster. Thanks

Go talk to your transfer center on campus. They can answer most if not all of your questions.
There is nothing abnormal about your wishes. Colleges use various combinations of factors to evaluate transfer applications. Look at the official website of the college to which you wish to transfer. Also look at that college on , click on the link to admissions on the college’s first page, and scroll down the admissions page to find the transfer admissions information.Answer by PETA
You should have been assigned a college advisor and that is what they do, so ask them for help in all these questions for definitive answers and guidance.
