Crash Sha: How do I transfer money to my bank account from a foreign account?
Basically, a friend of mine is lending me some money. He lives in Cairo and his money is with the bank of Egypt, while mine is with Alliance and Leicester (in England). How do we transfer the money? Thanks 🙂

you can find it in tools on this website
If you don’t mind paying a fee, you can ask the Bank of Egypt to wire the money to your bank account. But the fee is at both ends. Probably between $ 20 and $ 100 to send it, and another $ 20 to $ 100 to receive it. You have to ask each bank how much their fees are.
Or the friend could simply get cash from the bank and take it to Western Union. Or Moneygram. There are actually a lot of ways to do it, but they all involve fees. There is also a currency conversion cost, which reduces the total amount you receive.
Another possibility if you plan to do such transfers on a regular basis, would be for you and your friend to open a joint account at your bank, and your friend could log in via the internet to deposit money.
