Try online course via internet, or buy online books about photography. That is simple, cheaper and quicker.

here are some tips:
1) the best pose is a natural one: some people like natural poses because they look the most authentic while some non-natural look too posed insted of relaxed
2) take as many pictures as you can because out of 100 pictures you may like only 5 of them
3) the best time to take pictures is near noon that way the sun isnt in the persons eyes and they arent blacked out in the camera if the sun is behind them (although some pictures actually come out pretty good if the sun is behind them)
4) the best camera you can get is the one where you can change out the lens. not only because it is a better shot and zoom but because you can adjust the shutter speed which is important. Some point and shoot cameras are okay but not ideal.
5) you need to be able to (if shooting models) is being able to take your model and put them into a certain position and poses. dont expect the model to do it every time
6)Break all the rules: Be truly original. Ignore the rule of thirds. Shoot at high noon. Shoots sports photos at slow shutter speeds for blurred results. Whatever you do, make your pictures stand out from the crowd and relish the results.
7) youll never know where your inspiration will come from so keep a camera on you, take pictures of everything
