Monalisa: How do I set up an account to sell things online and how do I start the process of selling the items?
I have a bag full of items (including dvds, books, a pair of shoes, and an armful of clothes) I want to sell. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set up an account to sell items and how do I sell my items online? (not sure if this question belongs in the Personal Finance section of Business, but I wasn’t too sure where else to put it).

– amazon you only need a credit card to open a seller’s accounts. perfect for dvd’s and books. these will sell pretty fast if you got good titles. later you can add your bank account so they can deposit everything into your bank acct.

other selling platforms you may to consider for dvd’s and and books is alibris & half.com

-ebay would be more for shoes and clothes. take real picts and put them in the listing.

to open an ebay acct requires a paypal account
to create paypal acct just tie in your bank account w/paypal, then create an ebay account link them together and your set.
