Patricia: How do i make Yahoo start up page stay in compact view and not full view?
When i load up the Main Yahoo page it sometimes loads in Full view mode. I like the compact view mode and want it to stay in compact mode all the time. Now Yahoo sometimes in the last couple of days loads in Full mode and wount let me switch back to compact mode unless i delete all my cookies first. Whats going on?

Everytime your clear your cache—deleting temp files AND cookies—it removes the cookie for “compact view”, and you have to select it again, the next time you open the Yahoo homepage—–but then it stays till the next time you clear your cache.
I’ve noticed (since their last maintanence) the “compact view” (under page options), seems to come and go, but it’s listed most times, and when it’s not—logging out and back in sometimes brings it back.
I assume it’s merely a glitch, that will eventually correct itself.
