stiffkittens: How do I get the edges on photo I “softened” to be black?
I “softened” a photo on PhotoBucket to put on my MySpace profile where I have a black background. The photo looks good only thing is the edges of the photo now have an outline due to the “softening”. How can I keep the photo softened but keep the edges black so it blends in better with my black background or is flush with the background. I cropped the photo hoping that would work but it didn’t. Anyone have an idea?

If its just the very edges, the blur tool in photoshop works well. If not, try the burn tool. Either way, keep it at about 10% and do it in phases. It shouldn’t be that hard. Good Luck
