clankandmatt: How do I get started on a jigsaw puzzle?
It is a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and it’s my third that I have recieved, the first one being a 100 and then a 550 piece set.
I just don’t know how to start this one!

I always start with the corners, and the edge pieces. From there, it’s just a question of patience and observation.
Enjoy 🙂
Answer by Stephi-JIt helps to separate the pieces by their shape. Put the outside together first, then study the picture on the box and see what colors generally go where. Sort the pieces first by shape, then by color. Once you start the puzzle, it helps not to pick it up because then you have to re-sort everything and it’s disheartening, so try to start it in a place where you can leave it out for a month or two, or however long it takes you.Answer by Zack H
Start at the corners its always how I do it and usually it works just take all 4 corner pieces and put them it there correct places then find the pieces that go around it.Answer by Joe G
seperate the pieces into piles by color (all the bluish together, all the whiteish together, all the greenish together etc…) then start with the borders (you can tell them because they have flat straight sides). Trust me this will work>Answer by Teri M
Find all the edge pieces first then put them together to make the border. then separate all the colors that look the same. If there is a specific scene in the picture like a building or something then start on that scene first. And it will all come together. personally I like the 1000 piece puzzles better. They are more challenging. They are great for a rainy day. My Dad and I love to do these. We have a great time and its a good way to spend quality time with a friend or loved one.
