Kayla L: How do I get my brothers friends caught without my brother getting caught?
My brothers friends are bad influences on him. They smoke pot. I want to know how I can get them caught and set them up and telling a cop that they smoke it without telling the cop my brother smokes it. The plan is to get his friends caught and make him see that they are getting caught and he needs to stop smoking. Do you think this will help him quit? How do I keep it from my brother that I did it. Any ideas? I don’t have anything against pot, it just I don’t want my brother turnin into a pot head.

This won’t stop your brother from doing it, trust me. Just talk to him, and tell him what you think, and realize that experimenting with drugs is part of growing up for some people.

Good intentions, but how do you keep his friends from squealing on him when they are caught, especially if they figure out that it was you that told on them? Your brother must already be aware that people who get caught don’t enjoy their experiences with the legal system, but like so many others, he chooses to ignore the facts.

How about your parents? Do they know about this? If they are good parents, they will be more likely than you to know what to do to try to help your brother and they have more power to do it. Pot is said often to lead to taking more dangerous drugs that could ruin a person’s life, so this is not the time to worry about telling on your brother. He might get angry with you–probably will, in fact–but you could be sparing him a lot of grief in the future.

i think u should tell a parent or guardian about this particular situation because it is illegal and dangerous and it would be like mission impossible to get them caught and not your brother because they would probably rat him out too. i think everything would work out better this way. hope this helps 🙂 and if u go on too long things could get worse so i would tell them asap.

Here is what you do. Find out where they smoke it at. Most stoners have a location they smoke it at. Get your brother away from them for one day. Tell him you want to take him to whatever he likes to do other then drugs. Maybe the movies or whatever. Say you just want to spend time with him. You’ll have to pay since it will get him to go and I’m sure he doens’t have money since it goes to drugs. Then, call the cops when he’s not there and with you. The cops will bust those losers and there.

Keep one thing in mind. This won’t just magically stop your brother from doing drugs. He has to want to in order for him to stop. But this will help. Keep telling him how they got caught and how it affects them and there families since being busted.

I don’t see what’s wrong with trying it just once. Doing it just once doesn’t magically turn you into a pothead and your views on this situation aren’t going to change his mind about anything. Just don’t get involved. That’s the best you can do. I know you’re just looking out for him, but if it ever gets out of hand, then you should get involved. But if that day never comes, just stay out of it.
