How do I get books to stay in place inside the book shelf?

Ibrahim I: How do I get books to stay in place inside the book shelf?
I have about 5 books in my book shelf and they keep tipping, they wont stay in place it’s so annoying . How do I keep the books in place. Is there something I can buy that will hold them in place,because I saw something like that in the library. Please give me a detailed answer. THANKS!

Buy a bookend or use something heavy, or for 5 I’d just tip them towards the end of the shelf so they can’t fall back. Come on, this is the sort of advice I’d give a 6 year old.

A brick makes a good bookend. Wash it well if you find it in the yard or the woods. You can even cover it with pretty paper if you like. Have fun with your (growing) library!

Well just put your books on the shelf, and put some heavy thing beside them, even a teddy bear, if they tip off the other side, just put another on that side. Should do the trick without going into stores to get not so cheap junk for a.. bookshelf?!
