imyahuckleberry: How do I delete an image from my active desktop background?
This question is a little more advanced than Right Click > Properties. I recently opened a Word 2007 document which had an image in it. I drug the image to my desktop in hopes to save the image (which it did) however, Word activated Active Desktop and now that image is stuck in the bottom right hand corner of my 2nd monitor. I tried the windows support steps to remove or disable active desktop, and came to find out there is no “Web” tab in my display options. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Right click > Properties 🙂 > desktop > Customize desktop > Web tab > check the file you wanted > delete
or if you just wanted to close it, there’s an arrow at the upper left of the image, click it and choose close.
or go to C:\Documents and Settings\(your log on name)
then delete jpg file with file name clip_image001.jpg (if this was the first time)
