How do I convince my mom to get me a Guinea Pig?

♥♥!Oh Snap!♥♥: How should I “seal the deal” on getting a Guinea Pig?
You see, my mom wants me to show her I’m responsible. She told me what she wants me to do. But, she is still “edgy” on the whole thing. She doesn’t like Guinea pigs, but she’s never really seen them. And she will NOT go to a pet store, in fear I may “fall in love” and have to get one, even though I don’t have the requirements! How do I get her to go, or convince her to take a chance?!

Show her you are responsible and download pics of guinea pigs of the computer and show her how cute they are. Point out to her that you will do all the looking after and that she doesn;t have to worry. Tell her all the good things about guinea pigs like how cute and cuddly and friendly they are. Theres not really any down sides on guinea pigs.

My mom hates animals. Except for our dog and few selected others. haha. I have 2 Guinea Pigs and a Parakeet. She likes my Parakeet fine, but oh my lord she hates my Guinea Pigs. Haha, everytime she walks by my room she goes, “I cant believe it they are like small cats!” But they are in my room and I clean up after them so she dosent mind me having them. What I would do is ask her if you could just go look at the prices of things for Guinea Pigs and say that you want to prove to her that you wont have to get one and wont put her on the spot.

I honestly think my mom secretly enjoys my Guinea Pigs and all the retarded things they do…mine are crazy. My sisters wasnt but mine do the strangest things. You wouldnt believe half the things they do. lol.

well for me to convince my mom, i showed her pictures of cute little guineapigs that looked very cute and clean :p and then i told her all the good things about them and how they are such a cuddly and friendly pet to everyone. say to her , all the things you will do if you get one like the feeding and all. i said that and she ended not minding it , she started feeding it by herself! 😀 and now my brother just bought a rabbit and they are both 2 years old 😀 hope you get to convince her !
