Frustrated: How do I convince my mom to get a german shepherd puppy?
Ok our family has two fox terriers. One is my mom’s and the other is my dad’s. So I want a large (hint the word large) dog for myself that I could take care of and raise. My dad is up for it but my mom is being a tough nut to crack!

Instead of emphasizing the size of the dog, point out all of the good things about the dog. It won’t shed too much, etc. Also, you can promise your mom to pick out a dog with you so that you can pick a calm, patient, and obedient dog together.
PS — Also, make sure that your mom thinks the dog is extremely cute. She’ll forget she didn’t want a dog in no time!
Hope this helps!
Answer by duffie_1999How old are you? Your mom is being hesitant because she knows darn well that if you don’t take care of your dog, she will be the one who has to do it. Is it the size of the dog she objects to? Having 3 dogs? The expense of another dog? I would demonstrate to her that you can and will take care of your dog by taking care of both the other dogs 100%….feed them, groom them and walk them to prove to Mom you can be trusted to have your own dog. Maybe tell Mom after you prove that that the puppy could be your Christmas, Birthday and all other holiday gift for a year or two. That will show her how important it is to you…. Good luck.Answer by Cheyene B
Tell her all the good things about the dog and how you will take really good care of it. Avoid the bad stuff. Tell her how it can help you guys somehow.
Hope it works
