many fastfood establishments are looking for qualified people. You’ll have to apply at several and explain your past management experience and probably have to show you have the skills for it. This means doing the regular jobs for a bit and then doing shift supervisor and finally manager.
You might find someplace that needs a manager right away and you may be able to convince them but most usually won’t hire a manager directly unless the experience is in a fastfood chain they recognize and is usually local as it means you have experience with the local workers, relevant knowledge required by managers here. But don;t let that stop you. Many are looking and only need to see you in action to promote you quickly.
Answer by johnstonemacSo you’ll be changing dogburger to mooseburger. Just see where there is an opening and apply on line. You might have to do other things for the first 3 months to prove yourself.Answer by J A
First you need to be able to legally work in Canada, and have a social insurance number and proof that you are allowed to stay here on a permanent basis. Why not go to the Canadian consulate in Philippines and see if they have paperwork there to start you out.
Then you just need to contact companies with a resume, or fill out an application.
Answer by RIRI ServicesI agree that you aren’t likely to get on as a manager right away but will have to work your way up. There are lots of current employees vying for that position. A manager is a NOC O which allows for PR, a server is NOC C which doesn’t and allows for a maximum of two years work and then you have to return home for 4 months. It is possible to change your status if you get a promotion. You can go from server to food service supervisor which is a NOC B too.
However you have to keep in mind that with a twp in a lesser skilled position you have to convince the visa officer that you will return back to your home country after 2 years.
If you need any other help, please email me. I currently have some openings that may be of interest to you.
