HandcuffedWifey: How do buy a burial plot large enough for many family members?
We want to buy a burial plot for ourselves (husband and I), our two children, as well as future children we may have. We also want to consider family members of theirs. Is this possible? How do you make sure all of the family can be buried together without knowing the exact amount? Wouldn’t they run out of room for the plot before knowing the family total? Trying to plan ahead but I am so overwhelmed and scared of being buried without my family. What is the average cost of a large family burial plot?

Sure. Just contact the cemetery you are interested in, and you buy however many plots you want, in a connected line. If you end up having fewer children than you expect, you can always sell unwanted plots in the future.
Also, keep in mind that when your children grow up and marry, it’s quite possible they may want to be buried elsewhere with their spouses. But you can transfer title to them at your death, and they can decide to keep them, or sell them.
