Cassius: How come celebrities pay so few in a divorce (percentagewise) ? In a marriage between ordinary people ?
AT LEAST 50% of the assets go to the wife, while oftentimes Joe average has to give her all his money and the money he does not have. How come celebrities get away with parting with only a fraction of their fortune ? Is it to not toally alienate ordinary men from marriage ?
That is another point where celebrities get treated better. Prenuptials usually are not tossed out by the judge and that the marriage was short term is being taken into account as well, while if you are joe average after a 6 year marriage you can part with half you ever owned.

You don’t need a conspiracy theory to explain this phenomenon. Celebrities simply utilize prenuptial contracts at much higher rates than Joe Average.
They can afford hot shot lawyers. Plus they can also prove that THEY made the money & not their spouses. Plus they are usually short term marriages.
