Tell them all the good things about having a kitten and until they give in, try to be mature and show them that you can share things.Answer by Leah x
I would get your family together and talk about names and what they want the kitten to look like. This will make them feel included. Talk about how you’ll share the kitten and discuss what toys they want to get and what bed they might like for the kitten. Hope this helps and good luck getting your kitten 🙂 xxAnswer by Chelsea FC
First Do Not just bring a kitten home. Your parents will not be happy about you going behind their back and doing what you were told not to.
Are you sure this is their real reason? Sometimes parents give a easy answer that you can’t really argue with so you’ll go away. Ask if this is the only reason, be calm and reasonable. Nothing closes off communication faster than being angry, whinny or defensive.
If your siblings are worried about sharing work out a schedule (but remember a kitten isn’t going to follow your schedule) Have a day or a few hours that belong to each of you, so Monday is yours and you play with the kitten and they ask if they can play too, on Tues it’s someone else’s turn.

Around my last birthday, February 12th, I was up all night researching cats and how to train them. It was January when I did this. Finally, around late January I finally came up with a speech to talk my mom into letting me have a kitten. She said she would think about it, and eventually we all got cats around then.
Be careful if you get one, tho. When I got mine, it was from one of my mom’s customers at 7-Eleven. He was going to have to get rid of all of these kittens because he couldn’t take care of them. When we brought my tom-cat home, he was infested with fleas! We gave him a bath and was able to get rid of them all within the month. We trained him by keeping him in me and my sister’s room one night with a litter box in the center of the room. When we woke up, there was a little pile of poo and a wet spot; in the litter box!
Try to convince your siblings first and then lure your parents/guardians into letting you get one.
Hope it helped. 🙂 P.S: Sorry for all of the words, I have a blabber issue.
