Leah: How can I stop spam emails from being sent with my yahoo email address?
hundreds of spam emails are being sent with my yahoo email address.
I have deleted my entire contacts list.
Can you scan yahoo for a virus? Why are these spam emails being sent out and have my yahoo email address as the sender?

Change your PW and then scan your computer with any and all of the anti-virus programs you have.

Sounds like you got compromised. First change your password. Account help.https://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/acct/in… for just about anything to do with your account. Then run anti Virus and Anti Spyware. Should be fine then.
