Dante Jr: How can I stop automatic “Scan for New Hardware” on start-up?
The reason why I am asking is because I figured out why my laptop doesn’t connect to my Ipod because inorder for the ipod to work, for some wierd reason the USB Host Controller needs to be uninstalled then it will work. But as soon as i restart the computer it automatically installs it again and I am wondering if there is a way I can just stop that action from happening so I don’t need to keep uninstalling the Host Controller.

Disable “Plug-n-Play by the OS” in the BIOS at the start……shud stop it from checking initially……but dont disable it WITHIN the OS first…..if this doesnt work then disable the same option in the OS too
