Go to amazon.com and select the book category. Then enter the name of the author or one of his works, and all the other information you want will appear. There are also reader comments you will find interesting, and sometimes a blog by the author in question. Dean Koontz, for example, has an extensive blog on amazon and even communicates with his fans by this medium. I think this approach will solve your problem.
