How can i keep my music backup folder automatically synced with my normal music folder?

Ok, so i have an external hard drive that i backup all my music on and i download music from iTunes and Zune regularly. I always have them saved to my music folder on my laptop, but instead of having to copy every song over to the external every time, is there a program or something that will automatically copy the new downloaded song onto the external?
