bebe: How can I get a computing job?
I’m working adult, going for my Bachelor’s in Computer Science as a part-time student. I’m in my first year of the CS curriculum. Also would I be better off going straight for the master’s degree or working some in the computing field and then get my master’s in CS.

If your looking for a job while you’re in school, why don’t you try a technical temp company. Many times they set you up with larger corporations and you can eventually get hired full time (when you get your degree). Also, many corporations hire ‘interns’ directly – as part of a college program……this gives the student hands-on experience and also sets himself up for a potential offer.Answer by The Mogwai King

The best idea would be to get a part time internship while you are still in school. Most companies feel much better about hiring grads with work experience in the field than hiring someone fresh out. If you are particularly good at what you do, alot of times an intership turns into a job oppurtunity.
