nightraptor8000: How can i fix Windows 2000 after removing a flashdrive from the USB without using “Safely Remove Hardware”?
I pulled out a flashdrive on my old computer, which has Windows 2000, and now it won’t start up properly. I believe it is because i didn’t use the Safely Remove Hardware device like i was supposed to do. I have to use it for school work, and my siblings need it too. What should i do now?

I never “safely remove hardware” when I pull out my flash drive. Never heard of that causing a problem with start up. Have to tried to turn off the computer and put your flash drive back in, then restart to see if that works? Otherwise if you can get back into Windows, just put the drive back in and then safely remove it.
If the other suggestions do not work, you can “repair” windows by booting from the install cd and pressing ‘r’ when windows asks if you want to repair the installation. It might help to know exactly what the error you are getting is. These things are often reparable without going to such extremes but it is important to know the exact error.
