Dana: Hotels on the Big island where you can walk out of the hotel onto the sandy beaches?
Me and my family will be taking a vacation to the Big Island in July for probably 8 days and 7 nights. My Step-dad and my mom will be paying for everything, and they really want a hotel where they can walk out of the hotel onto the sandy beach. We want it to be a hotel not a condo, and a nice one at that. The beach right out of the hotel is a must, and it has to have a sandy beach! I appreciate all answers and will definitely reward points to helpful and good answers! Thank You!

Big island has limited sandy beaches and even less with hotels on them. Check out the hilton after countless world travels this still is one on my favorite hotels. It has a lagoon with turtles fish beach…..

Since a nice hotel on a sandy beach seems to be your #1 priority, I would recommend you reconsider & go to Maui. There are many hotels there to choose from that meet your criteria. I am not an expert on the Big Island & perhaps there is a hotel like that, but the Big Island is not known for its beaches.
