Jack McSmack: Has chicanery in the U.S. Congress peaked with these real estate “sweetheart deals?”?
California rep Richards is not even being investigated by the ethics committee, just business as usual with the reps and senators. With an 80% voter disapproval rating, you would think they would be concerned. Nawwwww, they are still as arrogant and contemptuous of common folk as ever. Maybe they really feel invulnerable with all the booty they have salted away overseas. They just don’t care what the polls say about them. Once they were responsive, but now they are all rich, I guess. Damn.
I mean, when will they get enough complaints to start a full scale investigation? What the hell is the ethics committee smoking? This is a damn outrage.

The media will eventually find a way of finding out who got the sweetheart deals. Hopefully prior to November.
